25 Years of Tilsatec
Founded in 2001, 2026 sees Tilsatec celebrate 25 years in business. Here we take a look back at some of the people, products and developments that have helped shape who we are today. From our early beginnings to the technologies that remain at the heart of our products. It’s been a journey shaped by innovation, expertise, and our people.
As a thank you to the team (many of whom have been with us from the start) we had a little party to celebrate and reminisce on everything we’ve accomplished along the way.
25 Years of Innovation and Expertise
Innovation has been an integral part of Tilsatec since the beginning. From developing technical yarns and materials in-house, to creating high performance hand and arm protection, our expertise has continued to shape the products we deliver today.
Over the last 25 years, our knowledge and experience have grown alongside the industries we work with. We continue to use this expertise to develop practical, wearable, high performance protection that meets the needs of workers across a wide range of industries. From our very first products, made for the automotive industry and heavy metal stamping and pressing customers.
To award winning, extreme cut and impact protection, bringing new technologies to industrial hand protection with Collide-x.
Over the last 25 years, our knowledge and experience have grown alongside the industries we work with. We continue to use this expertise to develop practical, wearable, high performance protection that meets the needs of workers across a wide range of industries.
It's also a great opportunity to look back at the brand’s humble beginnings and its evolution from Tilsa-Technical to Tilsatec Rhino, to giving RhinoYarnÔ its proper place as our proprietary yarn technology and ingredient brand.
Sitting alongside our current, contemporary ident, our customers and partners have become very familiar with. Did you know our current logo mark is based on a bird’s eye view of an S-curve yarn composition used a lot in our yarn engineering processes, demonstrating yarn expertise is at the core of everything we do.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the next 25 years and beyond, it will undoubtedly bring new opportunities, growth and innovations alongside some challenges. The industries we serve will continue to evolve, bringing new hazards, applications and wearer needs that require new approaches to continue to deliver best in class hand and arm protection.
